Welcome to The Nature Classroom! We are so glad you're here, and hope that you follow along and find ways for kids to learn about and love the environment. Join one of our classes and explore nature and animals through fun play-based, hands-on learning! Our hour long classes include sensory activities, crafts, stories, and more! Come make new friends, have some fun, and grow with us. We also have a wide variety of sensory kits available in our shop, so you can bring the fun home too. Sensory play is a great way for kids to explore and learn about the world around them in a fun and engaging way. It helps them develop important skills like problem-solving, memory, and understanding cause and effect. Playing with different textures and materials improves their motor skills and coordination. Talking about what they feel, see, and hear boosts their language abilities, while playing with others teaches them to share and cooperate. Sensory play also sparks creativity and imagination, by letting kids decided how they play and learn. Here at The Nature Classroom, we wholeheartedly believe that the best way for our young explorers to learn is through play of any kind, especially sensory play!
